Director
BOB GUZA is a television writer/producer whose accomplishments, including eight Emmy Awards, put him at the forefront of that profession. Bob is currently Head Writer and Consulting Producer on ABC’s GENERAL HOSPITAL. His other TV credits include SANTA BARBARA; SECRETS; LOVING; MODELS, INC.; MELROSE PLACE; and SUNSET BEACH. His film credits include PROM NIGHT, MELANIE and CURTAINS. In addition to his Emmys, Bob is also the winner of a Writers’ Guild Award. He has a BA in Theatre w/Honors from Eckerd College, a degree from The London International Film School, and an MFA in Film (emphasis writing/directing) from USC, which he attended on a Danforth Fellowship.
He has directed numerous plays, including Ionesco’s EXIT THE KING and Tom Eyen’s THE WHITE WHORE AND THE BIT PLAYER, and is co-artistic director of Shelton Street Theatricals, a New Orleans-based theatre production company.
